The Annual General MeetingΒ for the Canterbury Cougars Basketball Club has been scheduled forΒ Monday 9th November 2020 at 7.00pm. Zoom details will be provided once you have registered your attendance HERE.
This meeting is an important function of the running of the club and it generally takes about 30 minutes, but we need a minimum of 20 club members to attend to ensure we have a quorum. It would be greatly appreciated if you can please make the time to attend.
Β Election of the Vice-President and other Committee Members
As per the clubβs constitution, every odd year both the Vice-President positions are open for election and after almost 7 years as Vice-President, Mark Rendall has decidedΒ not to re-electΒ for the position and pass on the baton.
We will also be seeking the election of Secretary, Uniform Coordinator and General Committee Members.
We encourage everyone to become involved with this great club and continue to see it prosper as it provides a great avenue for our young children to play a fabulous sport in a safe environment. And in these extraordinary times we need your help more than ever to help keep players and families engaged.Β Please consider volunteering and helping your local community by nominating for a position on the committee. It is extremely rewarding.
